Jacob Strange moved to Kansas City, MO with a hope & a dream. To build and grow in a great city of opportunity! His career started out working at Job Corps as a property manager. While working as a property manager, he didn’t feel quite satisfied. Jacob knew that he wanted to build something lasting that would create an incredible experience for many people.

So, after years of a secure career, in the spring of 2026, he took a huge risk to go out and build something of his own! He saw a great need in the painting industry and was inspired by his dad who had been a painter! Painting has always been part of the Strange blood. Jacob started his company with the vision to create the best painting service in the KC area. Professionalism and eagerness to give customers the best painting contractor experience motivates him to secure his reputation as the only option for your painting needs

Jacob now lives in the Northland of KC with his wife Mariyah, and their 2 children, Elliott & Lilah. They are a family that loves and follows Christ! All of Jacob’s values & motivations stem from and are informed by recognizing Christ as Lord. When working with Prism Painting, you will experience true care for your needs being met, integrity & honesty through every step by doing what he says he will do, as well as diligence to be sure that everything is done with excellence!
